Princess Letizia Ortiz has decided to get to be the next Queen of Spain as King Juan Carlos announced his abdication after ruling the continent for 39 years on Monday (June 2, 2014). He'll be succeeded by his son, Letizia's 46-year-old husband, Prince Felipe de Borbon.

Before getting married with Prince Felipe de Borbon at Cathedral Santa María la Real del Almudena in Madrid 10 years ago, Princess Letizia Ortiz married a freelance writer along with a high-school literature teacher though the coupe divorced in 1999.
